Another Mistake, Maybe
Making photos at any car crash scene is difficult for a variety of reasons. Most of the time I just observe to see if anything unusual caused the crash or if there is something significant about its cause. I wrote about a crash on South State Street last month, below.
Friday night’s snowstorm began with photos in Uptown. The snow was ideal for photographers. Large flakes gently falling, accumulating on the cold ground. Ambient light, whether it be the car lights or the neon lights in the marquee of Blue Santa, when it turned dark made for good photos.

My trip home to edit was interrupted by police radio traffic indicating Central College was closed both ways at Sunbury and at Cubbage with cars having slid off the snow-covered roadway.
