Color Peak Action
One of the fun parts of putting together yesterday’s newsletter about these construction workers was being able to compare the black-and-white conversions to the original color.
I much prefer the conversions to the color. There is a more dynamic quality to the monochrome photos than the ones where color has an added dimension that distracts from the graphic design and the peak action.
In the photo above, the steamrollers at left and right become the most colorful attraction in the frame and distract from the center action and the workers.
That theme of color distraction continues in the rest of the photo collection from East College.
