East College and Whitehead Today

And through the years

This is My Final Photo for Thursday, July 7, 2022. I’ve been waiting for it to happen.

A short section of East College, and Home Street and its intersecting alleys are getting water and sewer upgrades before the streets are repaired.

I don’t know how many years it’s been since this section of Home Street was last paved or how old the connecting underground utilities are.

I’ve walked and ridden my bike along Home and its alleys many times while looking for photos. Always found something of interest. Even a young man’s model trains in an outbuilding.

This upgrade is quite a change for Whitehead.

The maple tree, inside the right-of-way where new underground pipes will be installed, is gone.
