Easter Vigil Services
Flew the drone tonight during St. Paul’s Easter Vigil Mass where parishioners gather outside the church for the lighting of the Easter candle and the beginning of Easter Sunday.
Parishioners then proceed into a darkened church with each one holding a candle that will be lit from the candle of a fellow parishioner.
The outdoor ceremony was held later this year making the exposure more difficult. Balancing the different colors of lights from LEDs in some locations to the bonfire at the center of the ceremony and the dark parking lot with the ambient light of the church was also an interesting problem.
