Eclipse Minute
The One Photo
I made one photo of the eclipse. With my phone. It is art.
In less than 15 minutes I made another 50 photos of people watching the eclipse.
During the one minute of the complete eclipse I made less than 10 photos the best of which is My Final Photo for today.
During the early phase of the eclipse I looked for subjects that might be good for photos and planned to concentrate on them during the full eclipse. That would give me one minute to make good photos. I like the pressure.
My favorite moment is making this photo of 20-month-old August Cheveney briefly displeased by his mom on the left, and father at right, holding eclipse glasses to his face as they peer at the sun through theirs. August is young enough that he will probably be alive in 2099 for the next eclipse and have this photo as a reminder of his first.
