From Beginning to End
A Narrative Collection
I’m always studying narratives, trying to find the best way to make photographs that tell a story. That was easy today for a few minutes as volunteers cleared invasives from Heritage Park.
With three photos making the narrative as simple as before, during, and after I could easily have walked away, the job complete.
But I didn’t.
The rest of the collection will be in Monday’s The Westerville News. If you’re interested. If you’re not interested, they will be in Monday’s The Westerville News.
From the technical side of the equation, these are simple. All were at 1/250th, f6.3, ISO 400, and 39mm on the zoom lens.
The slower shutter speed was fine as the plants weren’t moving fast and neither were the kids picking garlic mustard. F6.3 gave me enough depth of field to keep the important parts in focus.
