I saw only one dandelion today on National Dandelion Day and it was all by itself barely showing through the crisp green grass growing around it.
There is a photo in my archive of a dandelion being mowed down by a lawnmower, but I prefer this one of my granddaughter posing in a field of dandelions when she was about nine years old.
The photo has significance because of its location. This patch of dandelions grew in a field that is now the Westerville Community Center on Cleveland Ave.
