Nikons Not Needed
I stayed true to the mirrorless camera pledge today. Never took the Nikons out of the backpack. All the photos I made today were on my iPhone or with the drone, both mirrorless.
This wasn’t an existential examination of the photographic process or an experimental test of my creative prowess by limiting myself to phone and drone.
Perhaps it was a personal examination, as my purpose for the day was relaxation, and toting around larger cameras and lenses is not conducive to relaxation.
I spent a lot of time sitting in the shade and observing life around me, happy for even the warm breeze that eventually arrived later in the day.
I still made a few nice photos of sailboats on Hoover, which are below for paid subscribers.
