No iPhone, This Time
I’ve made a photo at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church almost every Sunday for at least 12 years. With very rare exception they have all been made with an iPhone, not one of my Nikons or the Lumix when I carried it.
The iPhone.
There are several reasons for this. One, I don’t want to be lugging a camera around the church during services.
The other is the iPhone has a great camera system for quick shooting for quick display on the web. It also has great editing apps.
Plus, I’m usually close to the subject whether it be the church itself or the parishioners attending the same Mass. No need for telephoto lenses.
However, this past Sunday I didn’t make my St. Paul Sunday Morning phone with my phone.
