Remembering Vacation

It is that time of year for me when earlier vacations erupt in my memories.

The rainbow above is as we were leaving, and I made one more stop at this slough on the Apalachicola River to see its still waters under a typical Florida morning sun. The rainbow was an added bonus.

Several days before, this remarkable sunrise was with a waning moon in the morning sky.

I miss the island.
