Soybeans To Baguettes
I had to stop by the Paris Baguette bakery and restaurant on Lyra Drive to try what foodies had noted as authentic South Korean French pastries. Everything looked great, although I’d already had lunch, and it was too early for an afternoon snack, so I left empty-handed.
The real reason I stopped was to experience the changes in the landscape since the last time I focused on the bakery’s location on Lyra Drive, about halfway between Polaris Parkway and Gemini Place.
I’d been there before but with a slightly different perspective. In August 2021, I made a drone photo of the last plot of land along the east side of Polaris Mall that might have been developed and what turned out to be the last field crop grown on the land.
It is now a strip shopping center building featuring Paris Baguette and its South Korean Paris baked goods.
The last week was too rainy and windy to fly the drone for an up-to-date photo. I will get that soon.
