I never know when it will be the last time. The last time soybeans or corn is grown on the Braun Farm property.
That’s why I spend a lot of time making photos each harvest season. Because it might be the last.
That means I make a lot of photographs of Kevin Scott who farms the Braun Farm fields and the adjacent land owned by Otterbein University.
That’s Kevin above making yet another repair on his combine, something he has to do at least once each harvest. He’s made three repairs this harvest. One major, two minor.
He does most of this by himself, lying on the ground or climbing up ladders and into hoppers and interior confines to make repairs. He does it without complaint, without worry, and without concern for lost time.
