True Birthday Smiles
Recently read a book about a group of scientists who cataloged facial muscles. Cataloged how they are used. Cataloged what they mean when used. Cataloged them so they could learn the subtle clues given by our unconscious mind as we react to stimuli.
The study resulted in trained observers being able to determine who was lying, who wasn’t happy despite the insistence everything was OK, who was enjoying themselves in deference to their pronounced dislike for a subject or situation, and if someone was faking it.
