I have a fairly large collection of photos of barns in Westerville.
One, the red barn on the Braun farm, makes up most of those photos.
Among my favorites is this photo of a barn and corn crib abandoned when the nearby farmland became single-family housing. I didn’t make a lot of photos of this barn. It was dilapidated and nearly ready to topple in a strong wind.
After a few photos I put it to the back of my mind waiting for it to fall or be torn down. It never fell nor was it torn down.
It is restored and used for equipment storage. I’m not sure how much of the old barn was used in the restoration but it now doesn’t appear as if it was once at the edge of destruction.
I’ll let you figure out where it is.
